At that time, he took his second and third degree to become a full-fledged knight in the St. Thomas Council. On May 20th, Gerry took his Fourth Degree at an Exemplification sponsored by the W. Robert Bachelder 4th Degree Assembly.

    This is your last chance to sign up for the graduation blessing that will happen this Sunday, 6/11, at the 8a Mass! Please call the office or email Ashley (Ashley.buxton@portlanddiocese.org) with your name, school graduating and future plans. Deadline is TUESDAY 6/6. Additionally, this is the last week for parishioners graduating from high school to apply for the John & Ann Watson Scholarship. Applications are available at the parish office. Please note you must be a current and active member of St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, you must be attending a 2 year or 4 year college (undergraduates only) or technical school and any funds that are awarded will be paid directly to the institution you will be attending. The completed application deadline is Monday, June 12th, 2023, 4 PM.

    Item Drive to help Asylum Seeking neighbors

    St. Therese of Lisieux Parish and St. Thomas School are partnering with the City of Sanford as a Donation Channel for Asylum Seeking Families. Thank you to all who have already donated in our drive to help our new neighbors! We had such great success that we have been asked to update our request for donations. If you are able, please consider donating the following: -Feminine Pads -Diapers: size 1, 3, 5, and 6 -Baby Wipes -Sports Bras: size S, M, L -New socks and underwear: all sizes -Ethnic haircare: shampoo, conditioner, hair brushes, elastics, etc. -Large Suitcases: can be gently used We have been working closely with the city and other organizations in the effort to help these families. Stay tuned for more news about other opportunities to help support these Children of God.

    St. Therese of Lisieux Parish and St. Thomas School are partnering with the City of Sanford as a Donation Channel for Asylum Seeking Families. There is an imminent need from our new Asylum-Seeking neighbors for feminine hygiene products. Any kinds, brands, or quantity. We will be collecting these products starting tomorrow, Friday 5/11, at the Parish Office and St. Thomas School. Please place them inside the black plastic tote with yellow lid. Thank you all to those have been so eager to help our new neighbors! This will be the first effort we put forth as a parish to provide support and hope to continue to support our community and fellow Children of God.
