    • "Let everything take second place to our care of our children, our bringing them up to the discipline and instruction of the Lord. If from the beginning we teach them to love true wisdom, they will have great wealth and glory than riches can provide." ~ St. John Chrysostom

"How precious is the family, as the privileged place for transmitting the faith!" ~ Pope Francis

Our children are gifts from God - each created unique and beautiful in His image.  Parents have a special responsibility to introduce and nurture their child's faith within their domestic churches.

To assist you with this important task, the Lifelong Faith Formation Program offers a family catechesis model for children's formation.  This model ensures:
    • Greater flexibility for busy families to make time for God
      • Each registered family will receive weekly emails with the lesson of the week.  Parents choose which day or days their children will complete the lesson and answer the assessment question(s).  You have complete flexibility of which activities and how your children will do their learning (online, workbook, a combination of both).  Families with children in multiple grades will appreciate this flexibility as they can choose activities from multiple grades to share with all family members.

In addition to their weekly assignments at home, all families meet once per month for a session which includes:

        • Group prayer

        • Parent only discussion to share and grow community

        • Family Learning and activity that challenges to grow and live our Catholic faith

Sessions are 1.5 hours and are offered five times throughout the month to give you flexibility for attendance.

    • Empowerment of parents to share faith & guide their family's journey
      • The biggest thing we hear from parents is that they don't feel confident in handing on the faith to their children.
We can assure you, there is nothing more to sharing your faith with your family than your love for them and your
love for God.  During your monthly sessions, you will see our Faith Formation Team model just how easy it is as well as give you an opportunity to talk with other parents, getting ideas and tips from your community to build faith and
        family identity.

    • Rich & Vast Resources for families to choose what works best

      • The curriculum we are utilizing is the parish edition of Word of Life by Augustine Institute.  Each child will receive a workbook at their current grade level.

Each family will receive access to Word of Life's robust portal which includes:

        • Dynamic digital student textbooks with interactive segments.  The kindergarten digital textbook can read aloud so children still learning to read can follow along.

        • Additional learning activities like Lectio Divina, Sacred Art, Prayers to Know, and more!

        • Adult formation section supports parents with both print and electronic media resources, enriching your level of knowledge wherever you are on your personal journey.

        • Lesson links to FORMED content for the whole family

Additionally, the Faith Formation Team is here to walk with you - to help you engage your children's hearts, establish strong roots, and nurture growth in your child's most important relationship - with God.

    • Increased connections with family, God, and the parish community
      • Because you are learning your faith together, our program gives you a chance to make your family a vibrant center of faith.  Relationships with God and each other grow and deepen as you encourage each other to live out the faith in your daily lives.  Families also develop a strong sense of community and Catholic identity as families get to know each other by learning, praying, and growing together.
