"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit (vitae spirtualis ianua), and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through Baptism, we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporate into the Church, and made sharers in her mission: 'Baptism is the Sacrament of regeneration through water in the Word.'" ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church, paragraph 1213
Here at St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish, the Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated for children under the age of seven upon the request of their parents. Please see below for the process. For those age 7 or older, please visit our Becoming Catholic page: Becoming Catholic

If you are interested in having your baby or young child baptized, you may use the online form found here: Request for Baptism Form
If this is your first child being baptized Catholic: Step 2: Complete Online Parent Course The preparation of baptism for a family’s first child requires both parents to complete our online Baptism certification, Belonging: Baptism in the Family of God. This six-segment program is designed to provide you with an incredible encounter with Jesus and His Church, preparing you for the baptism of your child and sharing tools for raising children in the Faith. The course is self-paced so you can complete within your family’s schedule, and you will receive a certificate of completion for your files.
Step 3: Attend a Follow up Session Once you have completed the online course, both parents should sign up for an in-person follow up session found here: Belonging Follow Up Session This 60-minute session provides parents time of deeper, personal reflection on the meaning of baptism, the Rite, and the role of parents and godparents as well as time to ask questions. These sessions are offered twice a month:

St. Thérèse ~ 4th Thursday of month @6:30pm
